1.) What is the meant by a minimum tenancy period?
The landlord decides this period of time. The apartment will not be let for periods of time shorter than this. However, a tenancy agreement for a period of time longer than that can be made.

2.) What is the flat rate rent / all inclusive rent?
This rent rate includes additional living costs such as electricity and water.

3.) What information is required by WohnRaumAgentur before viewing an apartment?
In order to be able to send you our offers, we need only your name, address, an email address or fax number.

If the offers are all right and you would like to view some apartments, we need the completely filled out contract before the viewing. A copy of the identity card or passport is completely important for private people, during firm renting a complete firm stamp is enough.

Mark the payment also wished by you.

4.) When is the procurement charge incurred?
The procurement charged is only incurred when you have decided on a property offered by us.
    Before this no costs arise.

5.) Is the landlord obliged to notify WohnRaumAgentur of the name of a tenant after an agreement has been signed?
The landlord has no such obligations with us.

6.) Why aren’t photographs of bathrooms included?
When photographs of an apartment are taken, tenants are often still resident there. We feel that asking for the bathroom to be cleared of the various personal items kept there would be an intrusion on their privacy.

If we included photographs of only some bathrooms and not of others, the impression given of some apartments could be misleading. The conclusion drawn by customers could be that the bathrooms which are missing were not photographed because they were not presentable.

For this reason the decision was taken not to photograph any bathrooms so as to avoid possible misconceptions. Instead we give thorough written descriptions of bathroom areas.

Please rest assured that our descriptions are reliable. The bathrooms in the flats we offer are, without exception, well-looked-after, pleasant and clean.

7.) What guarantees does a landlord require before a tenancy commences and why?
The handing over of the keys takes place after the landlord has received one month's rent and the security deposit. Furthermore a copy of a personal liability insurance policy should be a component of the tenancy agreement. This insurance should cover damages occurring to fixtures in the apartment (such as bathroom fittings, door handles etc.)
The security deposit is the only cover the landlord has for damage done to furniture, (unless they insure valuable pieces of furniture individually). It is recommended that landlords take out building contents insurance.

8.) What is the notice period required for termination of a tenancy agreement for a furnished apartment?
the tenant has the right to terminate the contract within three months.
