Agent Biography
Heike Ruwe
Owner, Wohnraumagentur

Even in my younger years, I had the vision of becoming self-employed. The spark to explore the real estate sector came when I read an article in a women’s magazine about two women who had established a room rental agency in Hamburg.
The first seminar I attended was “How to Become Self-Employed” at the VHS (Adult Education Center). This was followed by real estate agent seminars at the IHK (Chamber of Commerce and Industry). The demand for fully furnished apartments in Frankfurt was greater than for single rooms, and there was more income to be made. Contracts were drafted, a website was set up, and suitable apartments were sought.
Mediating residential properties is not simply about shuffling information or house keys. Landlords want suitable tenants, and prospective renters want to find their ideal apartment. I meticulously analyze my clients’ needs to carefully plan the process.
My clients benefit from reliability and expertise by their side. They save time and stress because they entrust the work to me. Satisfied clients recommend me because they are completely happy with my service.
As an experienced agent, I have been guiding my clients through all real estate matters for 30 years now. I see myself as a successful businesswoman who loves her profession. I particularly enjoy working with people and mediating between parties. My success is based on a combination of expertise and empathy.
For me, honest interaction with people is paramount. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and enabling many people to participate in it. Personal exchange is important to me, but I also recognize and actively embrace the digital present.
I am very grateful for the circumstances in my life that have allowed me to pursue my dream job.
I find balance in the evenings through African drumming, gospel choir, spending time with friends, and quiet meditation.
Ultimately, my favorite saying fits quite well:
Nothing good happens unless you make it happen.
