Smoke Detectors
It's time: As of 01.01.2015 all accommodation must be upgraded with smoke detectors. The owner is responsible for the purchase and installation, the tenant for ensuring the operational readiness of the Smoke Detectors!
According to § 13 subparagraph 5 HBO bedrooms, children's rooms and corridors, which lead through the escape routes for common rooms, must have at least one smoke detector.
The smoke detector must be installed or mounted and operated in a way, that fire smoke is detected early and reported.
Depending on the operating instructions and manufacturer's recommendation smoke detectors must be checked annually for their function.
